Disclaimer – pls dont whinge about typos – most of this is being done on the ‘fly’ (ha ha)<\/span><\/em>
\nWell you cant take it with you \ud83d\ude1b . I decided, before I had my licence taken away, to spend a small pensionpot on upgrading to a recent Cirrus G5 – Also the opportunity came my way of a relatively high mileage one which I could get at a reasonable price. Well its easy to get seduced you know!<\/span><\/p>\n

Its been several weeks of frenetic activity- progress chasing numerous parties. You’d be amazed how many people these days blithely give an answer to a question you didn’t ask and don’t give an answer to the one you did ask!!<\/span><\/p>\n

Maggie and I are off on Monday 26th – Bank holiday<\/span>
\nwe fly out of Gatwick as sparrowfart (0400 checkin) and are in New York by 1000. Then we take the ‘Silver Meteor’ Amtrak sleeper from there (Penn Central) to Savannah Arriving 0700<\/span><\/p>\n

We’ll be around that area doing training and touring for a week or so then heading up to Boston for a rendezvous with a colleague who is going to accompany me. Maggie flies ti Iceland then and we head off through Canada and across Greenland.<\/span><\/p>\n
